Cotto: terracotta-effect porcelain in 33.3x33.3 and six tones

Cotto brings back the fired-clay floor of Mediterranean houses and farmhouses, but in porcelain stoneware: the same earthy look without the porosity or maintenance of real terracotta. It comes in 33.3x33.3 cm and six tones — Arena, Derio, Magma, Pardo, Teja and Trapaga — from light beige to tile red, to combine or to use on their own.

Traditional terracotta absorbs water, stains with oil and needs linseed oil and wax every season. Cotto does not absorb, does not stain and is mopped with water and soap; it is also frost-proof, so it is used on porches, patios, terraces and barbecue areas as well as in rustic kitchens and living rooms.
