Wood: wood-effect porcelain plank in 100x300
Wood takes the wood effect to large format: a 100x300 cm piece that reproduces natural oak grain in a Natural tone with a matt finish. Unlike a conventional 20 or 25 cm wide ceramic plank, here the pattern continues over three metres, giving a floor or wall the look of solid timber without repetitive joints.
It is the solution for anyone who wants wood where real wood cannot go: bathrooms, kitchens, indoor pool areas, premises with intensive cleaning. Porcelain does not swell with water, is not attacked by insects, never needs sanding or varnishing and can be mopped daily. With underfloor heating it performs better than parquet, transmitting heat without warping.

Frequently asked questions
- Can you tell Wood is ceramic rather than timber?
- By eye, no: the grain is printed in high definition and the matt finish mimics the texture. To the touch and underfoot it is cooler and harder than wood, which underfloor heating offsets. The upside is that it does not scratch, stain or swell.
- Can Wood be installed in a bathroom or kitchen?
- Yes, that is one of its main uses. Wood-effect porcelain gives a timber look in wet areas without the maintenance or risk of real wood. For the shower floor, choose an anti-slip tile.
- How are the 100x300 Wood pieces installed?
- Like any large-format slab: level substrate, double-buttering, a levelling system and handling with suction cups. On floors it is usually laid staggered with a one-third offset to reinforce the plank effect.
